LA28 has announced a partnership with Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY), naming the Los Angeles-headquartered firm as a Founding Partner of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The agreement elevates Korn Ferry to the highest tier of the organisation’s commercial portfolio, alongside Delta, Comcast, Google, Honda, Intuit, and Starbucks.
As the Official Talent & Organizational Consulting partner, Korn Ferry is tasked with building, onboarding, and developing a workforce of nearly 5,000 employees required to deliver the event.
Commenting on the partnership, CEO of Korn Ferry, Gary D. Burnison, said: “Our partnership is all about building the culture and energy that will define the Games.”
“Simply put, we’re powering the people who power the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games,” Burnison said.
Strategic Recruitment and Leadership Architecture
The collaboration is already deeply integrated into the organisation’s infrastructure, having been initiated nearly two years prior through executive search services.
Korn Ferry was responsible for the high-profile recruitment of Reynold Hoover as the CEO of LA28 in 2024, a move that set the stage for this expanded partnership.
The firm will design Success Profiles and development pathways for the 5,000-strong team, coaching leaders to operate under the extraordinary pressure of a global event.
For Korn Ferry, the partnership serves as a massive B2B platform to showcase its talent management capabilities to the world’s most forward-thinking companies.
Chairperson and president of LA28, Casey Wasserman, noted: “Through our expanded partnership, we are building the team that will bring the LA28 Games to life and inspire the world.”
Korn Ferry becomes the seventh founding partner for the Games. The addition of the firm follows a significant commercial “hot streak” for the organisation, which crossed the USD2 billion (AUD3.06 billion) domestic sponsorship milestone in late 2025.
