1. What will you be covering during your presentation at the Ministry of Sports Annual Conference?

I will be presenting several case studies that will be relevant to the sports administrators attending the conference. The first case study will be on Cricket Australia – the trials and learnings. Case study two will include match footage analysis from a game of soccer.

I’ll also be discussing the future of sports analytics and where is it heading.

2.What are the 2-3 key learnings that attendees will take away?

  • What AI can do today to help teams and players?
  • What will AI be capable of doing in future?

3. Why is this presentation important for sports administrators right now?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is upon us and not many people can understand how best to utilise it. AI is intelligence demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the natural intelligence displayed by humans and other animals. In my presentation I will explain how current playing and coaching staff can embrace AI and how to up-skill in order to leverage this superpower.

With technology moving at such a rapid pace, I will explore the latest insights that have been learned and how it can be used to engage more fans.
