Century Cricket Centres Launches First U.S. Facility in Houston

Century Cricket Centres has officially opened its first U.S. facility in Houston, Texas, an important step in the company’s global expansion and the growing footprint of cricket innovation in North America.

The state-of-the-art, 24/7 indoor cricket training centre integrates advanced performance technology with community-focused design, positioning itself as a key contributor to the sport’s development in the U.S.

The facility’s official opening event has officially opened last Saturday, 25 October, followed by a Community Open Day which ran from 12 p.m. to midnight, inviting players and fans to experience the centre’s full capabilities, from live tech demonstrations to guided tours.

A Technology-Led Training Model

At its core, Century Cricket Centres’ concept revolves around delivering cricket access “100% of the time.” The Houston site brings together a suite of smart technologies including AI-enabled bowling machines, real-time ball tracking, high-definition video replay, and bat sensor analytics.

Century Cricket president and CEO, Stuart Giles, said the new facility represents a major evolution in the company’s model.

“Standing in the lane and seeing your data and video replays appear instantly on the LED screens is not only engaging – it’s game-changing.”

“It turns every training session into an immersive, professional-level experience,” Giles said.

The facility also features gym-style memberships, allowing flexible access and year-round training, regardless of weather.

The approach blends professional-grade technology with a community-oriented atmosphere aimed at supporting both grassroots and elite player development.

Strategic Partnerships Driving Innovation

The Houston launch consolidates Century’s technology partnerships with Bangalore-based StanceBeam, which provides integrated analytics and Bat Sensor technology, and Straight Drive, which supplies the smart bowling machines.

These collaborations form the backbone of Century’s custom-built, integrated training ecosystem — a platform combining hardware, software, and performance data into a seamless coaching tool.

StanceBeam CEO and Co-Founder, Arminder Thind, said the project’s scalability is one of its defining features:

“The platform we’ve built with Century has enormous potential to evolve even further — from deeper analytics and coaching integration to new ways for players around the world to connect and compete.”

Building a U.S. Cricket Presence

The Houston centre marks Century’s first fully integrated facility and its entry into the growing U.S. cricket ecosystem.

Stuart Giles is also set to represent the brand at the Cricket Impact Summit in San Francisco (22–24 October), speaking on the panel “The Innovation Engine: Disrupting Cricket’s Norms.”

“Launching in Houston and contributing to the conversation in San Francisco are major milestones for Century.”

“We’re thrilled to share our world-first environment that combines technology, accessibility, and community with the U.S. cricket community,” Giles added.
