A new partnership between Carl’s Jr. and the UFC has seen the restaurant chain become the official burger of the UFC in Australia until the end of the year.

The partnership will give Carl’s Jr. have visibility across UFC events, including Octagon signage at UFC Fight Night Paris, as well as social integration and sweepstakes in the form of VIP Experiences at UFC HQ in Las Vegas, and UFC Fight Pass complimentary subscriptions and UFC Store gift cards.

UFC vice president of global partnerships, Nick Smith, said the brand, which is part of CKE Restaurant Holdings, Inc., will be heavily involved in a number of new opportunities across the UFC’s activations.

“We’re delighted to partner with such an iconic and beloved brand like Carl’s Jr. Australia and welcome them as our first official quick service restaurant partner within the ANZ region,” Smith said.

“Much like UFC, Carl’s Jr. recognizes the appetite and growth opportunities within this region, and we could not be more eager to collaborate and engage with new audiences and fans within this category,” he said.

CKE Restaurants Holdings president of international, Mike Woida, said: “We are thrilled to announce that Carl’s Jr. Australia is the official burger of UFC.”

“UFC and Carl’s Jr. are two global powerhouses, and we know this partnership will enable both brands to unlock new audiences.

“As we continue to grow our business in Australia, we look forward to getting our delicious burgers into the hands of UFC fans across the region and around the world,” Woida said.
