The Brisbane Broncos have launched a bold new Club identity and logo, marking the first major brand makeover in more than 20 years.
The rebrand puts the city of Brisbane at the forefront of the new mark, which officially retires the outgoing logo following the Club’s historic double Premiership year.
The modernised logo features the iconic Bronco, forward-facing, complemented by a shield that honours the original 1988 design, and a subtle representation of the Brisbane River flowing through the mark.
The launch also introduces a powerful new battle cry, ‘We Charge On’, signalling the club’s ambition for its next era.
Affirming that the timing and design were crucial for the organisation’s future, Brisbane Broncos CEO, Dave Donaghy, said: “This is more than just a logo – it’s a statement of who we are, where we’re from and importantly, where we’re headed.”
“It honours our past, celebrates our city, and positions us for the next generation, making us recognisable globally as we move towards Brisbane 2032 and as the NRL expands overseas,” Donaghy said.
Supporting the move, and stating the design speaks deeply to the club’s legacy while focusing on forward momentum, NRL head coach, Michael Maguire, added: “For myself it’s about building on the history… You can’t stand still you’ve got to keep moving forward, and we have an exciting group. Charging on is a big part of it.”
The new identity, developed over 18 months of consultation with member groups, sponsors, and players, immediately took visual precedence across Queensland, with signage updated at the Red Hill headquarters and the famous Brisbane letters at Southbank.
Launch activities spanned from the city to the club’s regional heartland in Roma, involving Legends, star players, and a major trophy tour.
The rebranding also included the unveiling of the 2026 home and away jerseys, including a refreshed, navy Cyril Connell tribute strip, confirming the club is commercially and operationally ready for its future on the national and international stage.
