Brisbane Broncos Charity Partner Program Delivers Record Community Impact

The Brisbane Broncos’ 2025 Charity Partner Program has delivered its strongest fundraising outcomes since its establishment in 2007, generating $918,000 for Queensland community organisations across the season.

Twelve charities were selected for the program at the beginning of the year, with funds raised primarily through the club’s 50-50 charity raffles held during home games at Suncorp Stadium.

The initiative reached a new milestone during the preliminary final double header, where the Brisbane Broncos faced the Knights in the NRLW and the Panthers in the NRL. That event generated a record $157,471 for Teen Challenge Queensland, marking the highest single-game total in the program’s history.

The result was supported by 73 volunteers on the day, the largest volunteer group the club has coordinated for a matchday raffle.

Teen Challenge Queensland executive director, Joanne Hobbs, said the visibility and engagement created through the program had a meaningful impact beyond fundraising alone:

“The Broncos have been absolutely wonderful to work with — community-minded, supportive, and genuinely invested in making a difference.”

“The partnership has helped raise vital funds and also increase awareness of the life-changing work we do to help people overcome addiction and rebuild their lives,” Hobbs said.

The funds raised will support the organisation’s residential rehabilitation programs, including accommodation, counselling and life skills training.

Across the full year, the Brisbane Broncos have contributed more than $750,000 directly to Queensland charities, with further community activities planned over the Christmas period.

Demand for involvement in the program continues to grow, with 55 charities submitting applications for the 2026 cycle before applications closed.

The club also acknowledged Loans.com.au, the official Charity Partner Program Sponsor, for its continued support in enabling program delivery and community impact.

The 2025 charity partner group included Ambulance Wish QLD, Cancer Council Queensland, Challenge DV, Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland), Youngcare, Variety QLD, Happy Paws Happy Hearts, Emmanuel City Mission, Muscular Dystrophy QLD, Black Dog Institute, Teen Challenge and Hymba Yumba Foundation.
