Bankwest Stadium Joins Ranks Of Major Venues Covered By Ticketek
Bankwest Stadium, the new home of Parramatta Eels, has today confirmed it has partnered with Ticketek Australia for all event ticketing going forward.
Bankwest Stadium joins ANZ Stadium, MCG, SCG, Suncorp Stadium, Adelaide Oval and AAMI Park as major venues covered by ticketek.com.au, a premier ticketing, technology and marketing network.
Bankwest Stadium is managed under the authority of NSW Government agency Venues NSW and is operated by VenuesLive.
Bankwest Stadium CEO, Daryl Kerry, said today that Ticketek’s vast experience would stand the new stadium in good stead in its first year of operations.
“Bankwest Stadium will set a new standard in the event experience in Sydney and we are thrilled to have Ticketek on board to help us deliver events at the Stadium,” Mr Kerry said.
“We value the fact that Ticketek has its own local technology team to develop and deliver world-class customer experiences to Australian fans.
“We are particularly excited about Ticketek’s innovation in mobile ticketing and technology and the many benefits this will provide to fans and hirers at Bankwest Stadium.”
TEG CEO, Geoff Jones, today thanked Venues NSW and VenuesLive for the opportunity for Ticketek to be a founding partner at Bankwest Stadium.

The opening sporting event at Bankwest Stadium is the NRL Premiership Round 6 blockbuster between Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers on Easter Monday 22 April.
The Bankwest Stadium event schedule for 2019 includes 14 NRL matches, Waratahs home Super Rugby matches, international football between Western Sydney Wanderers and English club Leeds United, the Wallabies versus Samoa rugby Test, Canterbury Cup NSWRL Grand Final Day and the Downer Rugby League World Cup 9s Sydney 2019.
