AMOR ALL continues as Supercars Championship partner for 15th consecutive year

American car care company, ARMOR ALL, will continue its support of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship in 2019, after extending its deal for a record 15th consecutive season.

The announcement sees the ARMOR ALL brand continue as one of the longest serving major sponsors of the Supercars Championship after originally becoming the Official Car Care Products Sponsor in 2005.

During the term of the ARMOR ALL sponsorship, prize money exceeding $1 million has been awarded to the top qualifiers through the ARMOR ALL Qualifying; the ARMOR ALL Pole Position Award; the ARMOR ALL Top Ten Shootout; and the ARMOR ALL Race for the Grid which have featured at every Supercars Championship event since March 2005.

The ARMOR ALL brand will continue as the Official Car Care Products Sponsor and Naming Rights Sponsor of ARMOR ALL Qualifying and Pole Award for the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, Dunlop Super2 Series and ECB SuperUtes Series in 2019.

Paul Blair, General Manager Spectrum Brands Global Auto Care Australia, said everyone involved with the ARMOR ALL brand was excited to once again be closely aligned with one of the world’s leading motorsport categories.

“ARMOR ALL car care products stand for high quality and performance, just like the Supercars Championship,” Blair said.

“Spectrum Brands, the owner of the ARMOR ALL brand, has a long and proud history in motorsport across the globe and the Supercars ARMOR ALL Pole Award is one of the most instantly recognisable sponsorships.

Supercars Chief Executive Officer, Sean Seamer, celebrated the renewal of the ARMOR ALL sponsorship which he described as a brilliant partner of the sport.

“ARMOR ALL has been a brilliant partner of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship for 15 years, an amazing partnership that we are very proud of,” Seamer said.

“Our teams and drivers take high regard in claiming the ARMOR ALL awards at our events and we are delighted to have the ARMOR ALL team on board for 2019.”

Overall, 28 drivers have accepted a Pole Position cheque from the ARMOR ALL team and Arnie the ARMOR ALL mascot in Pit Lane.
