The A-Leagues are making waves in the world of sports and social media, earning acclaim for their impressive growth in audience engagement, video views, and overall digital presence. Their outstanding achievements have led to a nomination among global and domestic brands for several gongs at the SPORTSPRO OTT Awards in Madrid, including Best Social Media Strategy award.

This recognition comes on the heels of a remarkable season that saw video views across the A-Leagues, KEEPUP, and Dub Zone social channels skyrocket by an astounding 368%. These digital triumphs have created an unparalleled level of fan engagement for the Isuzu UTE A-League and Liberty A-League.

The accolades continue to pile up as the first season of KEEPUP Studios’ A-Leagues All Access, produced in collaboration with JAM TV, has been nominated for Best Original Content. The A-Leagues have received recognition for their pioneering commitment to women’s football, securing a nomination in the “Best Digital First Production” category for the inaugural season of Dub Zone, the league’s premier dedicated Women’s Football program.

These achievements coincide with the launch of the 2023-2024 A-Leagues season. Both series, A-Leagues All Access and Dub Zone, will return with a fresh look and feel for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

The second series of A-Leagues All Access promises to bring fans captivating stories from across the A-Leagues’ competitions week in and week out. It will be available for viewing every Thursday night on aleagues.com.au. The season opener will feature the Liberty A-League’s Women’s Football Celebration round, showcasing FIFA Women’s World Cup Matildas stars such as Cortnee Vine, Kyah Simon and Lydia Williams.

Dub Zone will also make a triumphant return, spearheaded by Niav Owens and Teo Pellizzeri, along with a rotating panel of pundits. The series aims to ignite conversations about Liberty A-League Women, the Matildas, and various key topics in women’s football. Fans can tune in for the new-look format every Sunday at 8:30 PM AEDT on KEEPUP’s YouTube channel, with live availability on 10 Play. The upcoming episode will feature special guests Teresa Polias and Catherine Cannuli.

The Official Isuzu UTE A-League Podcast has earned its place on the list of contenders for Best Sports Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards. This nomination not only celebrates the podcast’s weekly analysis of domestic soccer, hosted by Daniel Garb, but also acknowledges the daily vodcasts produced during the FIFA Men’s World Cup in Qatar last year. The show, led by David Davutovic, Tom Smithies and David Weiner, provided valuable insights as Australia rode the wave of Socceroos euphoria in late 2022. The podcast’s season preview, featuring Davutovic, Smithies and Weiner, is set to be released next Monday on the podcast’s feed.

With these accomplishments as a springboard, Australian football fans can look forward to even more engaging content in the 2023-2024 season.
