The Farmer’s Dog Secures Historic Partnership as First-Ever Official Pet Food Partner of the NFL

The Farmer’s Dog has announced a commercial partnership with the National Football League (NFL), making it the league’s first-ever official pet food partner.

The agreement integrates the brand into one of the most powerful cultural and sporting platforms globally, offering millions of dog owners targeted education around premium nutrition.

The collaboration launches with promotional campaigns featuring New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo alongside his senior rescue dog Duke and dachshund puppies Cheech and Daizy.

The alliance extends far beyond standard branding, covering experiential activations at major league events including Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Combine, and the NFL Draft, alongside community-driven initiatives such as My Cause My Cleats, NFL Salute to Service, and NFL Flag programs.

Commenting on the partnership, Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL, “The NFL is all about bringing people together through shared experiences and community,” said Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL. “Dogs are an important part of many families, and as the Official Pet Food Partner, The Farmer’s Dog will help us celebrate the role they play in our lives and communities throughout the season”.

CEO and co-founder of The Farmer’s Dog, Jonathan Regev, highlighted the core performance and wellness strategy driving the partnership.

“We understand more than ever how much what we eat impacts our health and performance. NFL players live that every day, and people increasingly recognize the same is true for their dogs,”

“We started The Farmer’s Dog because for too long, feeding your dog meant choosing between different versions of the same ultra-processed food.

“This partnership gives us an incredible opportunity to show millions more people there’s a better way.

“Everything we do is about helping dogs live healthier lives and giving people more time with them—more games, more Sundays, and more seasons together.

“Dogs have an incredible ability to make our lives better, and we’re proud to partner with the NFL to celebrate that bond and what it means to have a dog by your side through all of it,” Regev said.
