The Geelong Cats have announced a partnership with Ingenia Holiday Parks, welcoming the tourism operator as an Elite Partner of the club’s AFLW program and the Presenting Partner of AFLW Coaches for the next two seasons.
The partnership will extend into the club’s broader AFL program starting in 2027, introducing commercial assets including LED stadium signage on match days. As a leading holiday park operator with eight locations across Victoria, the collaboration aligns two entities rooted in Victorian community engagement, family connection, and lifestyle experiences.
The timing coincides with a transitional phase for the women’s program, operating under newly appointed head coach Mick Stinear alongside an assistant coaching group and co-captains Nina Morrison and Becky Webster. As the presenting partner of the coaching department, Ingenia Holiday Parks will secure high-visibility brand placement, featuring on the official coaching group’s polo shirts as an apparel asset during national competition fixtures.
Commenting on the partnership, Geelong Cats chief operating officer, Marcus King, said: “It’s an exciting time for our AFLW program, and we’re thrilled to have Ingenia Holiday Parks on board ahead of the team’s first home double-header at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.”
“We’ve entered the season with a new head coach, a refreshed coaching group and new co-captains in Nina Morrison and Becky Webster, which has laid a strong foundation for the next phase of the program.
“Support from partners like Ingenia Holiday Parks helps us continue to evolve the program and create meaningful experiences for our members and supporters,” King said.
Echoing the enthusiasm, Ingenia Holiday Parks EGM of Tourism, Matthew Young, added: “We’re delighted to partner with the Geelong Cats, an organisation that shares our commitment to family, community and creating meaningful experiences.”
“Both our brands are built around bringing people together, whether that’s cheering from the stands on game day or making memories on holiday.
“As part of this partnership, we’re especially proud to support the Club’s AFLW program. The growth of women’s sport is creating more opportunities, inspiring future generations and strengthening communities, and we’re excited to be part of that journey alongside the Cats while deepening our connection with Victorian families,” Young stated.
The newly forged alliance launches publicly as the Cats prepare for a blockbuster double-header at GMHBA Stadium, establishing a robust commercial baseline for fan engagement.
