G.J. Gardner Homes Extends Partnership with NZC

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced the renewal of its partnership with G.J. Gardner Homes, extending their long-standing collaboration for another year.

The renewed deal reinforces a shared commitment to supporting cricket across Aotearoa — from the elite level through to grassroots participation and community engagement.

The extension ensures that G.J. Gardner Homes continues its integral role as part of NZC’s family of partners, aligning with the organisation’s broader strategy of connecting more New Zealanders with the game — whether through the BLACKCAPS, the WHITE FERNS, domestic competitions, or local club initiatives.

Shared Values of Community and Growth

Expressing his appreciation for G.J. Gardner Homes’ continued support, emphasising the impact of the partnership across all levels of the sport, NZC chief executive officer, Scott Weenink, said: “Their ongoing support helps us invest in the game at every level and create memorable experiences for fans and participants nationwide.”

“G.J. Gardner Homes is a valued partner whose values align strongly with ours — quality, community, and ambition. We’re excited about what we can achieve together over the next 12 months,” Weenink said.

Supporting Grassroots and Fan Engagement

Sharing how the renewal reflected the company’s enduring relationship with cricket and its cultural importance across the country, general manager at G.J. Gardner Homes New Zealand, Olly Sundstrum, shared: “Cricket brings people together — whānau, friends, and communities.”

“We’re proud to continue our support of NZC and the teams who inspire Kiwis every summer,” Sundstrum noted.

Under the extended agreement, NZC and G.J. Gardner Homes will collaborate on new brand activations and fan engagement initiatives across the 2025–26 season.

Activities will include matchday visibility, digital and social campaigns, and community-led storytelling projects celebrating cricket’s role at the heart of New Zealand summers.
