Bravo Rebrands Athlete Division to Odyssey Sports Management

Sports Entertainment Group (SEG) has announced the rebranding of its athlete management division, Bravo Sport, to Odyssey Sports Management. The move marks a strategic shift designed to strengthen SEG’s commitment to representing the next generation of Australian athletes under a dedicated and standalone agency model.

Odyssey Sports Management will provide end-to-end services tailored to elite athletes, from contract negotiation and sponsorship activation to wellbeing, financial advice, and long-term career planning. The agency will also support athletes beyond their playing careers, ensuring a holistic approach to representation.

SEG CEO, Craig Hutchison, said the rebrand reflects the group’s effort to clearly separate its active athlete management business from Bravo, which continues to represent coaches, broadcasters, and lifestyle presenters.

“In the increasingly competitive market of athlete management, we felt it was important to create a brand that speaks directly to the journey of today’s athletes.”

“Odyssey is about more than just contracts — it’s about guiding talent through the adventurous journey of professional sport,” Hutchison said.

The name Odyssey was chosen to symbolise ambition, growth, and transformation, reflecting the company’s aim to partner with athletes from early development stages through to peak performance and retirement.

James Pitcher will serve as Managing Director of Odyssey Sports Management, with additional senior appointments expected in the coming weeks.

“This new brand allows us to speak more directly to athletes who are becoming household names even before their professional debuts, while also continuing to support established stars,” Pitcher said.

The Odyssey roster already includes several high-profile names across Australian sport, such as Darcy Moore, Josh Dunkley, Jacob Weitering, Chloe Molloy, Monique Conti, and Ruby Schleicher.

What differentiates Odyssey from other agencies is its integration with SEG’s wider media and commercial ecosystem. With direct access to SEN Radio, Rainmaker TV production, content creation teams, sponsorship networks, and social and digital amplification, Odyssey athletes will gain unique opportunities to grow their personal brands while accessing enhanced commercial pathways.

Odyssey Sports Management will operate within SEG but as a clearly defined entity, providing focus and clarity for athletes navigating modern sport’s commercial and personal complexities.
