Momentus Technologies Empowers Next Generation Of Entertainment Startups

Momentus Technologies has announced a partnership with CAST to provide a significant platform for startups and scaleups within the entertainment sector.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions at the Asia-Pacific Venue Industry Congress, taking place at ICC Sydney from June 22-24, with startups and scaleups having until May 4, 11:59 PM AEST, to submit their applications.

This collaboration will highlight four early-to-mid-stage companies, allowing them to present their innovations to an audience of over 1,000 members of the Venue Management Association (VMA).

This diverse membership encompasses around 300 venues, including stadiums, arenas, convention centres, performing arts venues, and more, across 16 countries, with members including prominent organisations such as Live Nation, Ticketek, and ASM Global, among others.

The primary goal of this partnership is to bridge the gap between builders (startups and scaleups) and buyers (industry professionals and decision-makers) by fostering such connections.

Commenting on the partnership, Momentus Technologies chief innovation officer, Steve Mackenzie, said: “As far as we’re concerned, innovation and technology go hand in hand, and what better way to marry these together than to provide a platform for the next generation of tech companies to introduce their products and ideas to the region at the VMA Congress.”

General Manager of CAST, Gav Parry, added: “We know the biggest challenge for startups and scaleups is getting in front of the right buyers.”

“Partnering with Momentus and the VMA is an incredible opportunity to give early- to mid-stage companies the chance to do just that.

These companies represent the next generation that will reshape the industry as we know it. This partnership is a clear sign that now, more than ever, is the time to bring both the builders and buyers together to create a thriving industry side by side,” Parry said.

This initiative invites startups and scaleups globally to apply, with four companies ultimately selected to participate. Those chosen will benefit from:

  • Unprecedented exposure at the region’s largest venue management gathering, which attracts thousands of professionals annually.
  • Direct engagement with key decision-makers and industry leaders from top-tier venues throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
  • An opportunity to showcase innovations that enhance fan experiences, streamline venue operations, and improve the overall entertainment ecosystem.
