Roosters Replace QBE With IKON As New Sleeve Sponsor

The NRL’s raining premiers, the Sydney Roosters, have pipped Cronulla in securing IKON Services Australia (IKON) to a three year $2.1m contract.

The commercial cleaning company will replace QBE on the sleeve of the Roosters training apparel, polo and playing jerseys effective immediately.

Welcoming the partnership with the Club, Sydney Roosters Chairman Nick Politis AM said: “IKON Services Australia are leaders in their field who share the Sydney Roosters philosophy of supporting development and striving for excellence.

“The Roosters are delighted to welcome IKON to not only our Club and indeed the Sydney market, but also to the game of rugby league,” he added.

In announcing this new partnership with IKON, the Roosters will enter the 2019 NRL season with the corporate value of the famous Tricolour jersey greater than ever before in the Club’s history.

“It’s wonderful that this partnership with IKON completes the opportunity to appear on the Sydney Roosters jersey in 2019, and that the Club will enter its 111th year with the corporate value of the jersey at its highest in the Roosters’ history,” Mr Politis AM said.

IKON Services is a leading national provider of commercial cleaning and hygiene, property services and waste management, with offices in Victoria and NSW.

In launching the new partnership, IKON Services Australia Managing Director, George Tahan said: “We were impressed with the professionalism shown by the Sydney Roosters during our business dealings.
