Australian Football League (AFL) club, Brisbane Lions, have renewed their sponsorship deal with McDonalds.

The deal, which runs to 2025, will see McDonalds upgraded to a major support partner of the AFL club and official partner of the Lions’ AFLW side.

Under the deal, McDonalds’ branding will appear on the Lions’ guernseys with special offers on McDonalds food and drinks also available for fans.

Grassroots funding will be made available to the Lions as part of the agreement.

Discussing the partnership, Lions CEO, Greg Swann, said: “We are extremely grateful to have McDonalds take its support of the Club to a new level, while also showing its commitment by extending for three years.”

“Our partnership with McDonalds continues to help us achieve great things at AFL and AFLW level, and also benefits our members and those involved in the game at grass roots.”

“We’re excited to see what the next three years of this valuable partnership leads to and look forward to working together as we head into a new era for the Club,” he concluded.

The investment in the Lions comes just weeks after the completion of their new training and matchday facility.
