The 9Network, the official home of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, is set to redefine winter sports broadcasting with its Milano Cortina 2026 coverage.

The network’s Wide World of Sports team will operate from a state-of-the-art studio in Livigno, Italy’s high-altitude alpine village, delivering unprecedented, immersive coverage across Channel 9HD, 9GemHD, 9Now, and Stan Sport.

Coverage begins with the preview show “Let The Games Begin” on February 4, followed by two days of live competition before the Opening Ceremony on February 6. The Paralympic Games will follow on March 6, hosted by Australia’s most decorated Paralympian Ellie Cole.

Ally Langdon and James Bracey will anchor the broadcast from Livigno, joined by Leila McKinnon and Todd Woodbridge, while Sylvia Jeffreys and Dylan Alcott lead the morning coverage from Sydney. The 9News team, including Danika Mason, Damian Ryan, Christine Ahern, and Lauren Tomasi, will deliver live reports and exclusive stories from venues across Livigno, Milan, and Cortina.

The Games will feature 3,500 athletes from 93 nations, with over 50 Australians competing, including Jakara Anthony and Scotty James.

The 9Network’s expert commentary team includes some of Australia’s most iconic Winter Olympians:

  • Lydia Lassila – Olympic gold and bronze medallist freestyle skier
  • Britt Cox – World champion mogul skier
  • Torah Bright – Olympic gold and silver medallist snowboarder
  • Stephen Bradbury – Olympic gold medallist short-track speed skater
  • Jaclyn Narracot – Australia’s first Olympic medallist in skeleton
  • Sami Kennedy-Sim, Steph Prem, Jono Brauer, Mia Rennie, Jye Kearney, and Luke Kneller

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will span eight key locations across Northern Italy from Milan’s urban ice sports and Cortina d’Ampezzo’s alpine slopes, to Livigno’s freestyle venues and Anterselva’s biathlon arena culminating in a Closing Ceremony at the Verona Arena.

9Network’s coverage promises to bring Australian audiences closer to the action than ever before celebrating athletic excellence, storytelling, and the spirit of the Games.
