The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is set to return from 25-27 October 2024, celebrating its 30th anniversary with a weekend of Supercars racing, entertainment, and economic impact for the region.

This year’s event is anticipated to draw over 200,000 fans, building on last year’s record crowd and generating an economic boost of over $58 million for the Gold Coast

Key highlights for 2024 include the debut of the Pro DRIFT SLAM competition, alongside two 250km street races on the Surfers Paradise circuit. The event will also feature a diverse range of support categories, such as the Porsche Carrera Cup and V8 SuperUtes.

Boost Mobile, the naming rights partner, and event organisers are aiming to deliver a memorable weekend, with a drone show and performances from top Australian acts like Peking Duk and Jet.

Corporate hospitality offerings, including the Chicane Club and Pavilion x Piper Heidsieck Champagne Lounge, underscore the commercial appeal of the event.

As Queensland’s largest annual sporting event, the Gold Coast 500 continues to position itself as a cornerstone of the region’s sports tourism industry, driving both local and international attention to the area. However, significant road disruptions are expected during the event, which will be broadcast live on the Seven Network and Foxtel.

The 2024 edition represents not only a major sporting occasion but also a critical driver for local businesses, reinforcing the value of major sporting events in regional economic development.
