In a notable development for Australia’s motorsport scene, Supercars has announced a partnership with TRICO, the Official Wiper Partner of the Repco Supercars Championship.
This collaboration aims to co-develop a wiper solution specifically engineered to excel in demanding racing conditions.
Commenting on the partnership, TRICO APAC sales manager, Adam Rickard, said: “Working alongside Supercars and its teams to develop a wiper solution specifically for the Championship is an exciting challenge.
“The extreme conditions faced in racing provide the perfectenvironment to push our technology to the limit and ensure we are delivering the best possible visibility for drivers,” he said.
Supercars GM of commercial, Jamie Black, added: “Having TRICO working alongside our Motorsport team throughout 2025 will allow us to create a wiper system that meets the high demands of our racing environment.”
“We’re excited to see the results of this partnership and to officially welcome TRICO as our Official Wiper Partner in 2026,” Black said.
Throughout the 2025 season, TRICO will work closely with Supercars’ Motorsport team alongside various teams and drivers, focusing on the refinement and testing of its advanced wiper technology.
This thorough evaluation process is designed to ensure that TRICO’s products meet world-class visibility standards when they debut as the Official Control Part in 2026.
TRICO’s involvement in motorsport is well-established, and this partnership signifies a deeper commitment to Australia’s leading racing category.
The collaboration will see TRICO actively participating in major events throughout 2025, where they will engage with fans through hands-on experiences demonstrating their technology’s capabilities.
For instance, fans will have the opportunity to try their hand at a Supercar racing simulation set in rainy conditions, highlighting the performance and reliability of TRICO’s wipers, with the participant achieving the fastest simulation time receiving complimentary wipers.
Moreover, TRICO and Supercars will develop a unique content series designed to underscore the vital importance of effective wiper performance in the high-pressure context of racing.
This initiative not only aims to enhance fan engagement but also to illustrate the critical technological advancements that play a key role in ensuring driver safety and performance on the track.
