Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has announced key elements of its 2026 programming schedule in Western Australia, headlined by the rebranding of TABradio to SENTurf following SEN’s acquisition of Racing and Wagering Western Australia’s (RWWA) audio broadcasting assets.
The new SENTurf network will launch from mid-November, positioning itself as a dedicated home for racing content across WA, while also introducing expanded local sports programming.
SENTurf will operate alongside SEN WA and SENTrack 657am, with shared content ensuring audiences across the state can access both racing and general sports coverage.
Adam Simpson, former West Coast Eagles coach, will join Whateley for Monday Means Test at 8:00am AWST throughout the AFL season, replacing Nathan Buckley after his move to Geelong’s coaching panel. Simpson will also feature on Scotty & Goss on Thursday mornings.
Gareth Hall will front dedicated Western Australian racing programming, bringing his established SEN racing profile to the new SENTurf platform.
Meanwhile, SEN confirmed that long-serving broadcaster Paul Hasleby will depart the network in 2026. SEN CEO, Craig Hutchison acknowledged Hasleby’s contribution since joining in 2017, praising his work across breakfast, drive and AFL Nation broadcasts.
Hutchison said the launch of SENTurf represents a major commitment to WA’s racing and sporting communities.
“This marks a new era for racing and sports audio in Western Australia.
“We’re proud to deliver programming that reflects the passion of WA audiences,” Hutchison said.
SENTurf will focus on “chasing, pacing and racing” while integrating live and local sports content tailored to Western Australian audiences.
As part of the expanded schedule, SEN WA Breakfast will now run from 6:00am to 9:00am AWST across both SEN WA and SENTurf. Tim Gossage will continue to lead the show, supported by Peter Bell on Mondays and Fridays, and Scott Cummings from Tuesday through Thursday.
Bell, a former Fremantle and North Melbourne midfielder with more than 300 AFL games, re-enters the WA sporting media landscape after transitioning into broadcasting following his playing career.
SENTurf will be broadcast across an extensive network of AM and FM frequencies statewide, as well as through the SEN App, ensuring access from metro Perth through to the Kimberley, Midwest, South West, Wheatbelt, Goldfields and Pilbara regions.
