After shifting strategy’s and leavingĀ its position as the Major Partner of the Brisbane Broncos, NRMA Insurance has announced a new partnership with the NRL club, investing in extensive community work across Queensland.

The launch of the NRMA Insurance Broncos Community Program marks the first time the club has had a Naming Rights Community Partner, extending the relationship between the two brands, which began in 2004.

ā€œOur commitment to the community is extensive and there is no-one more appropriate than NRMA Insurance to join us as the clubā€™s inaugural Naming Rights Community Partner,ā€ Brisbane Broncos CEO, Paul White, said

ā€œThis three-year community agreement will make it an incredible 19 years since we first began partnering with NRMA Insurance, and we look forward to making a big difference in the lives of Queenslanders together.ā€

The partnership will see NRMA Insurance continue to support existing programs, like the Beyond the Broncos Mentoring Program and Beyond The Broncos Girls Academy, which have been helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to reach their potential and fulfil their goals.

The Beyond the Broncos Girls Academy program has gone from strength to strength, with the number of students taking part in the school-based mentoring program quadrupling from 300 in 2016 to 1,300 in 2019.

In addition, NRMA Insurance will work with the Broncos to establish a new program designed to educate young people about safe driving.

NRMA Insuranceā€™s sponsorship of the Broncos Community Program underscores its focus on helping to build safer communities.

NRMA Insurance spokesperson, Sally Kiernan, said this new sponsorship recognises the outstanding support the Broncos provide for the community.

ā€œTogether with the Broncos NRMA will establish a new program designed to help teach young fans about safe driving.

ā€œBrisbane is an important community for NRMA Insurance. Weā€™re proud to be working with the Broncos to support the community,ā€ Ms Kiernan said.
