The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have deepened their long-term commercial relationship with BRAVUS, as the company moves into a Platinum Partnership role beginning in 2026.
The expanded agreement will see the BRAVUS brand appear on the sleeves of the Cowboys’ NRL playing jerseys, bringing together the company’s mining, rail, port, and renewables operations under a single unified presence.
Cowboys chief commercial officer, Dean Payne, said the strengthened partnership continues to reflect the shared purpose between the club and BRAVUS.
“United by a shared commitment to advancing regional Queensland and showcasing our region with pride, this partnership has always been a natural fit.”
“This next chapter expands beyond Bravus Mining and Resources to embrace the broader BRAVUS network across the Heart of our Cowboys region.”
The expanded branding will now incorporate Abbot Point Operations, Bowen Rail Company and the North Queensland Export Terminal alongside the company’s existing mining and renewables business.
Cowboys playmaker, Jake Clifford, who will return to the club for the 2026 season, said the partnership resonates personally for many within the organisation.
“Heaps of the players and fans have family who work at the mine or the port,” Clifford said. “It’s part of what makes us proud to pull on the jersey and represent our region.”
BRAVUS head of reputation, Kate Campbell, said the broader visibility of the BRAVUS brand gives its staff across North and Central Queensland an even greater connection to the club.
“Our people live and work in the same communities the Cowboys represent, so this partnership belongs to them as much as to us.”
She added that the company’s 2026 advertising campaign will celebrate the region’s industrial identity with trains, ships and haul trucks featured prominently.
The collaboration is nearing its 10-year milestone, with the partnership expected to reach the decade mark by 2028. Both organisations have emphasised the alignment in values and commitment to supporting regional communities across North Queensland.
