The WNBL has announced Hungry Jack’s as its newest official partner, marking another major milestone in the league’s continued expansion and national prominence.

As one of Australia’s most recognisable brands and a long-time supporter of basketball, Hungry Jack’s deepens its role in the sport through this partnership—building upon its existing positions as a foundation sponsor of the WNBL and naming rights partner of the NBL.

Hungry Jack’s delivery & sponsorships manager, Angus Pragnell, said the collaboration reflects shared values between the brand and the game.

“Basketball represents teamwork, resilience, and passion—values that align perfectly with Hungry Jack’s.”

“As foundation sponsor of the WNBL and naming rights partner of the NBL, Hungry Jack’s is proud to help the sport grow and to support the players and fans who make it so special,” Pragnell said.

Welcoming the partnership, WNBL CEO, Jennie Sager, noted that Hungry Jack’s long-standing commitment to Australian basketball makes it an ideal collaborator.

“It’s fantastic to welcome Hungry Jack’s into the WNBL, their belief in the power of sport to connect communities aligns perfectly with our mission.”

“Together, we’ll continue building a platform that celebrates the incredible talent and determination of our athletes,” Sager said.

The partnership aims to celebrate WNBL athletes, enhance fan experiences, and inspire the next generation of young women to pursue their basketball dreams both on and off the court.

NBL cief partnerships officer, Shenae Beus, added that the expanded relationship highlights Hungry Jack’s significant role in Australian basketball’s growth.

“Hungry Jack’s has played an instrumental role in helping basketball reach new heights in Australia.”

“Their ongoing support across both leagues reinforces a genuine commitment to the game’s development at every level,” Beus said.
