Galatasaray SK has officially renewed its partnership with PUMA in a long-term agreement that will run until 2036.
The extension reinforces the existing relationship between the Istanbul-based club and the German sportswear manufacturer, which began in 2023.
The agreement covers kit sponsorship and broader strategic collaboration, signalling PUMA’s ongoing investment in the region and Galatasaray’s intent to strengthen its commercial and sporting position domestically and abroad.
Long-Term Strategic Alignment
PUMA positions as a strategic partner in Galatasaray’s long-term growth, with expanded collaboration across fan engagement, marketing, and youth development. The deal also includes future projects spanning multiple sports divisions under the Galatasaray umbrella.
PUMA will continue to design and supply matchday kits, training wear, and fan merchandise, incorporating advanced textile technologies from its research and development centres.
Galatasaray president, Dursun Aydın Özbek, described the renewal as a symbol of shared ambition and stability.
“This agreement is not only a sponsorship but a strategic partnership that reflects Galatasaray’s history and future.”
“Having a global brand like PUMA by our side strengthens our vision to compete at the highest level in both Turkish and international football,” Özbek said.
PUMA Türkiye and Middle East CEO, Taner Seyis, said the agreement represents a milestone for both entities.
“This is the longest and most valuable contract we have ever signed in Turkey. Galatasaray plays a vital role in representing PUMA’s visibility in the region.
“We are proud to support Turkish sport and look forward to new projects that will enhance this collaboration,” Seyis added.
PUMA Türkiye Team sports director, Taylan Akgöz, added that the deal underscores shared values between the two brands.
“This agreement is not just about kits — it’s about a shared vision and mutual trust.”
“Over the next decade, we will continue to develop initiatives that connect directly with Galatasaray fans and strengthen the bond between our two communities,” Akgöz concluded.
A signing ceremony took place at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex – Rams Park, attended by Galatasaray President Dursun Aydın Özbek, Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu, PUMA Türkiye and Middle East CEO Taner Seyis, and PUMA Türkiye Team Sports Director Taylan Akgöz.
While financial terms were not disclosed publicly, Turkish journalist Burhan Canterzi reported the deal’s total value at approximately EURO83 million (AUD 135.5 million), including EURO14.5 million (AUD 23.7 million) in performance-based bonuses, structured under a 5+5-year model.
