Allied Express To Increase Brand Awareness With New Supercars Partnership

Australia’s largest independently owned courier and express freight company, Allied Express, has signed a new partnership with Virgin Australia Supercars to include the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

With a history of sponsorship in the AFL and NRL, Allied Express Managing Director, Michelle McDowell said the partnership with Australasia’s top motorsport category made perfect sense ahead of some of the biggest events of the year.

“Allied Express is excited to be partnering with Supercars and participating in the 2019/2020 events program,” McDowell said.

“It’s a great opportunity to showcase our company and brand throughout Australia given the reach of Supercars major events.

“At Allied Express we pride ourselves on our association with Australian professional and non-professional sports.

“We have a long history of sporting sponsorship which began on wheels, commencing in 1978 with the sponsorship of the Bankstown Paceway Billy Cart Championships.

“The Supercars sponsorship is the right fit for us – Supercars and transport go hand-in-hand. Let the Battle of Bathurst begin.”

Supercars General Manager Commercial, Jamie Black, said: “Like Supercars, Allied Express is a well-known brand across Australia, with a fleet of over 1000 vehicles.”

“To have Allied Express on board supporting our major events over the back end of 2019 and again in 2020 is great news for our sport.”

The first event Allied will feature at and the next on the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship calendar is the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 which runs at the iconic Mount Panorama from 10-13 October and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports, Kayo and Ten.
