AFL Trade Radio will return in 2025, launching earlier than ever to give fans unrivalled access to every rumour, deal and club move.

The program kicks off with three live shows during Grand Final Week (September 24–26), broadcasting midday from the Macca’s Footy Fest at Yarra Park. From September 29, coverage will expand to a daily schedule across the full 2025 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period, running until October 16.

Sharing how Trade Radio has become a staple of the AFL calendar, Sports Entertainment Network CEO, Craig Hutchison, said: “Starting earlier, broadcasting longer and featuring the best talent in the game, this is the ultimate destination for trade news and analysis.”

Expressing how the record engagement is expected again in 2025, AFL Head of Content, Ed Bowman: “We saw just under 2 million audio and video streams last year, and with massive storylines and player movement expected, we are excited for another record-breaking trade period.”

This year also sees the addition of James Hird and Liam Pickering as regular hosts, joining a star-studded lineup including Kane Cornes, Sam Edmund, Tom Morris, Callum Twomey, Riley Beveridge, Damian Barrett, Brad Johnson, Sarah Olle and Josh Jenkins.

The expanded schedule will feature up to 11 hours of live broadcasting each day, streamed via AFL.com.au and the AFL App, with full podcast availability for on-demand listening.
