Adelaide United has formed a two-year charity partnership with Bedford ahead of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 season.

Bedford, a business that changes the lives of people living with disability by building capacity, independence, and well-being, also runs a football program which gives people with disability the opportunity to be active and build life-long friendships.

Speaking about the new partnership, Adelaide United Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Kosmina, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Bedford for the next two years.

“Bedford provides fantastic support and employment opportunities for people living with a disability.

“As a Club, we look forward to partnering with an organisation that shares similar values and we’re excited to further raise Bedford’s profile through our community programs.”

Bedford Chief Executive, Maggie Dowling, said: “We’re so excited to partner with Adelaide United and create a new legion of Reds’ fans – especially at our Torrensville site where everyone has become soccer-crazy following a recent visit by star players, Michael Marrone and Louis D’Arrigo.

“Sport is so important for people with disability and fosters a sense of inclusion and integration.

“I’m sure our clients will be so proud to walk onto the pitch at Coopers Stadium in December to showcase their skills and prove what can be achieved.”
