The Adelaide Crows AFLW team has embarked on a significant partnership with FertilitySA, aiming to empower women, stimulate crucial discussions surrounding fertility health, and inspire the youth to pursue their aspirations.
This collaboration brings together two prominent South Australian entities, putting an emphasis on women’s futures – underscoring both the excitement of competitive sport and the personal aspirations involved in family planning.
Expressing enthusiasm about the partnership’s alignment, Director of Operations at FertilitySA, Kathleen Waite, said: “As a proud South Australian clinic, we’ve been supporting local families for almost 30 years.”
“Partnering with the Adelaide Crows AFLW team is a natural fit as we share the same community, the same values, and the same passion for empowering women. This is about backing our own on the field, in the clinic, and right across the state,” Waite said.
Welcoming FertilitySA to the AFLW family, General Manager of AFLW, Phil Harper, added:“We’re proud to partner with an organisation that shares our passion for supporting women both on and off the field. Fertility is an important part of the bigger life picture, and together with FertilitySA, we can help bring awareness to players, fans, and the wider community.”
FertilitySA is set to collaborate with the Crows on various community initiatives, player education, and fan engagement throughout the region. The partnership will include fertility awareness campaigns aimed at reaching women early in their sporting and professional journeys, emphasising the importance of fertility health.
The launch of this partnership represents an advancement in raising awareness about fertility health, egg freezing, and reproductive choices, forming part of a broader vision for women’s empowerment in South Australia and potentially extending beyond the region.
