BetMGM has officially announced its multi-year partnership with the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
With this strategic partnership, BetMGM positions itself as the exclusive online casino and sportsbook partner of the Aces, extending through the 2027 WNBA season.
Additionally, the agreement designates BetMGM as an authorized gaming partner of the WNBA, offering access to commercial inventory during nationally broadcast games and co-branded content across various platforms.
Commenting on the partnership, BetMGM’s CEO, Adam Greenblatt, said: “As we enter this era of tremendous growth in women’s sports, BetMGM could not have two better organisations to partner with than the WNBA and the Aces.”Preview Changes (opens in a new tab)
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the company plans to launch a WNBA-branded online slot game in jurisdictions where its iGaming platform is operational.
President of the Aces, Nikki Fargas, added: “The Las Vegas Aces are proud to partner with BetMGM, especially for the support they will provide to The Just One Project.”
SVP of Sports and Sponsorships at MGM Resorts International, Lance Evans, noted: “Together with BetMGM, we look forward to hosting game day events at Mandalay Bay and other properties, allowing local and visiting fans to interact with their favorite basketball teams.”
The timing of this partnership aligns perfectly with the growing commercial viability of women’s sports.
Viewership for WNBA games saw a dramatic increase in 2024, with ION’s network averaging 670,000 viewers—a staggering 133% jump from the previous season.
Moreover, the WNBA experienced its highest total attendance in over two decades, with 2,353,735 fans attending games, reflecting a 48% increase from the previous year.
As brands increasingly recognise the potential of women’s leagues, the WNBA has seen unprecedented viewership levels.
Teams like the Aces have successfully sold out full-season tickets since 2024, making investments in women’s sports more attractive due to expanding audiences and lower entry costs.
