The future Audi F1 Team and adidas have announced a multi-year global partnership that will see the iconic German sportswear brand become the team’s official apparel partner.
The collaboration, unveiled ahead of Audi’s entry into Formula 1 in 2026, unites two of Germany’s most recognisable brands around performance, innovation, and style.
As part of the deal, adidas will supply high-performance equipment for Audi’s drivers, mechanics, engineers, and staff. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of the Formula 1 paddock, the collection will combine precision design with advanced materials to ensure functionality, comfort, and peak performance.
Describing the partnership as a natural progression of the brands’ decades-long collaboration, CEO of AUDI AG and Chairman of Sauber Motorsport AG, Gernot Döllner, said: “adidas and Audi have decades of collaboration in top-level sports – built on shared values and the desire to inspire through performance.”
“Our partnership in Formula 1 goes far beyond the pursuit of innovation and peak performance: it combines the strengths and visions of two progressive brands,” Döllner expressed.
adidas CEO, Bjørn Gulden added: “Bringing together the iconic four rings and our three stripes to the 2026 paddock marks an exciting new chapter in motorsport.”
“This partnership showcases our focus on collaborating with brands rooted in shared beliefs and innovative perspectives, on and off the track,” Gulden mentioned.
Emphasising the cultural resonance of the deal, Team Principal of the future Audi F1 Team, Jonathan Wheatley, concluded: “With adidas, we’re equipping our people with elite technical sporting gear that enhances performance where it matters most.”
“Beyond racing, we share a commitment to making an impact off the track through innovation, style and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” Wheatley said.
But the partnership extends beyond the track. Fans will also be able to share in the excitement through an exclusive product line of apparel, footwear, and accessories, set to launch before the team’s first race in 2026.
With adidas by its side, Audi F1 enters Formula 1 poised to set new standards not only in performance but also in the way motorsport engages fans worldwide.
