Caterpillar to Partner With Major League Soccer

World’s leading manufacturer of construction and machinery, Caterpillar, has announced a multi-year partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) to create fan engagement.

The deal will see, MLS collaborate with Caterpillar to integrate Cat products into the soccer ecosystem, with Cat dealers also having access to exclusive soccer experiences for their operators and customers.

MLS holds the largest percentage of multicultural and millennial fans, with the partnership aiming to expand Caterpillar to a broader and more diverse audience, and generate deeper engagement with the league’s fans.

Commenting on the deal, global director of marketing and brand for Caterpillar, Yvette Morrison, said: “Caterpillar is eager to partner with Major League Soccer, as we share a joint commitment to being leaders in the communities where we live, work and play.”

“We celebrate the people who do the work every day and are constantly looking for new ways to engage with our next generation of employees, customers and their families. ”

“This sponsorship provides a perfect opportunity for us to introduce Cat to a broader audience,” she said.

“Together, MLS and Caterpillar will engage long-standing customers and the most diverse fanbase in all of sports to positively impact the sport of soccer in the U.S. and Canada,” he said.

Caterpillar recently collaborated with MLS in development of Cat Trials 12: No Hands, which features US men’s national team legend, DaMarcus Beasley, making a trick shot with autonomous Cat equipment.
