Melbourne Victory achieve massive extension with WorkSafe

The Hyundai A-League’s Melbourne Victory has received a long-term commitment from WorkSafeVictoria following a recent contract extension.

The partnership, which began in February 2017, has been hugely successful with WorkSafe playing a leading role in supporting Victory’s community initiatives and the new five-year deal will see the relationship continue to evolve.

Melbourne Victory CEO, Trent Jacobs welcomed WorkSafe’s decision to extend its partnership with the Club.

“WorkSafe is a trusted brand in this state and they play an important role in our community, ensuring Victorian workers return home safely every day,” Jacobs said.

“Their support and integration into our community-based programs has been incredible and we look forward to partnering with WorkSafe to ensure their important messages reach football fans across the state.”

WorkSafe Victoria Chief Executive, Clare Amies said the partnership with Melbourne Victory had created new opportunities for WorkSafe to engage with the community to deliver important workplace health and safety messages.

“Melbourne Victory’s extensive community program and corporate network allow us to engage employers, young workers and people from diverse backgrounds and we are proud to partner a club that demonstrates its commitment to improving outcomes for Victorian workers and their families.”
