LaLiga announced their financial performance for the 2023/24 season, reinforcing its status as one of the most resilient and progressive football competitions globally.

The organisation has achieved record revenue figures, maintained stable debt levels, and further bolstered its financial stability against a backdrop of robust commercial growth and significant stadium attendance.

The total revenue reached EUR€5.049 billion (AUD$8.982 billiom), reflecting a 3.2% increase compared to the previous season.

LaLiga has exceeded the EUR€1 billion (AUD$1.7 billiom) mark in commercial income for the second consecutive year, fuelled by innovative sponsorship and licensing strategies as well as a growing international footprint.

This commercial expansion aligns with the organisation’s commitment to keeping ticket prices affordable, resulting in a remarkable turnout of 16 million spectators and an average occupancy rate of 75.4% in stadiums, as investment remains a crucial element in the sustainable development of the Spanish football ecosystem.

Additionally, LaLiga is undergoing a historic transformation phase, which includes substantial infrastructure projects and the ongoing implementation of its accelerated growth strategy, BOOST LALIGA, facilitated through its Clubs Office.

Although there has been a slight uptick in senior corporate net debt, now at EUR€1.337 billion (AUD$2.377 billion), the overall solvency indicators highlight a financially sound organisation.

Net equity remains robust at EUR€2.240 billion (AUD$3.984 billion), reinforcing the competition’s long-term economic framework, which serves as a model for Financial Fair Play.

Forecasts for the 2024/25 season suggest continued improvement in standardised results, driven by organic revenue growth and enhanced operating margins.
