Top NRL Commercial Partnerships: Sea Eagles, Rabbitohs, More

With the 2022 NRL season looming, here are all of the latest commercial partnerships across the NRL.

South Sydney Rabbitohs

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have announced an extension of Brydens Lawyers as the club’s official law partner for 2022.

The law firm will engage Rabbitohs members and supporters through ticket giveaways for the State of Origin, NRL Grand Final, and Rugby League World Cup in England, also becoming the co-naming rights partner of the Rabbitohs Business Chamber.

Brydens Lawyers principal, Lee Hagipantelis, said: “It is my honour to confirm the continuation of the partnership of Brydens Lawyers with the South Sydney Rabbitohs as its Official Law Partner for 2022.”

“Our partnership with South Sydney is one that we value very highly, one that enjoys a mutual respect but more importantly is one based upon shared ideals founded upon a drive to excel.

“South Sydney has and will no doubt continue to enjoy success not only as a club but an institution well-grounded in the inner suburbs of Sydney but respected throughout the broader community.

“As the Official Law Partner, Brydens Lawyers is able to avail its services comprising expert legal advice and representation to all members and fans of the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

“We wish all the teams that play under the South Sydney banner every success for season 2022,” Hagipantelis said.

Gold Coast Titans

Elsewhere in the NRL, the Gold Coast Titans have announced Gold Coast-based law firm, Evolve Legal as the club’s official legal partner in a two-year partnership.

Evolve Legal originally began as a foundation partner for the Titans’ inaugural NRLW side in August of 2021, with the expansion of the partnership set to see the brand feature on the bottom back of the Titans’ home jersey.

Gold Coast Titans CEO, Steve Mitchell, said: “We’re thrilled that Evolve Legal are coming on board with our club for the next two seasons and it’s wonderful that they’re backing both our men’s and women’s teams.”

“As a local business that has grown and progressed over the last two decades, they’ve got a strong understanding of our region and our communities here on the Coast.

“As an organisation, Evolve Legal has a very similar value set to what we have at the Titans and we’re very much aligned in many ways.

“Our purpose as an organisation is to make our communities proud.

“This is something we share with Evolve Legal, who have supported numerous teams, charities and initiatives across our local community here on the Coast,” Mitchell said.

St George Illawarra Dragons

The St George Illawarra Dragons have brought in Sydney-based blockchain technology and cryptocurrency social media platform, LoveChain, as a partner, with the brand to produce NFTs for Dragons fans.

The LoveChain platform is currently scheduled for a late-February release, and will become the first social media platform in the world allowing users to create an NFT from the content they create, with a built-in e-commerce marketplace to make it possible for users to share, sell or place their NFTs on marketplaces.

Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles

Lastly, the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles have announced two new partnerships ahead of the 2022 NRL season, with the club bringing in both on-demand delivery service, Rendr, as their official delivery partner, and Asahi Lifestyle Beverages as the club’s official non-alcoholic beverage partner.

The Asahi partnership will see the brand partner with the Sea Eagles through to at least the end of the 2026 NRL season, with the non-alcoholic beverages the company manufactures to be made available at the club’s home venue, 4 Pines Park, joining 4 Pines and Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) at the venue.

Meanwhile, the Rendr partnership will see the brand feature across the top back of the on-field trainers’ shirts for all NRL and junior teams games.
